We're growing our team
This month, we're stepping away from our usual health and wellness topics to share some news about our team. We'll be back with our regular articles this fall. In the meantime, feel free to read on, and if you know a massage therapist or osteopath who might be a good fit, we'd appreciate you passing this along.
The Award-Winning team!
The story of Aston Wellness Clinic has been one of growing to meet the needs of our clients and our community. We're growing again, and this time we're hoping to add two new members to our team: an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and a Registered Massage Therapist.
What it's like to work here
Aston Wellness started as a single home practice, built on the idea that good health care should feel personal. Under the direction of founder and lead practitioner Candice Aston, it has grown into one of Timmins' multidisciplinary clinics, offering physiotherapy, osteopathy, massage therapy, counselling, and rehabilitative exercise programs. Conveniently located downtown, near municipal parking, the modern, newly renovated space includes multiple treatment rooms and its own exercise studio.
The clinic's reputation reflects that care. Aston Wellness Clinic has been named TimminsToday's Favourite Osteopath for two years running, in 2025 and 2026, and in 2026 also picked up Favourite Health Practitioner. The clinic is also a past winner of the Timmins Chamber of Commerce's Nova Award for Contribution to the Community, and holds consistently high ratings on Google Business, currently 5.0.
Patients consistently describe the team as friendly, warm, and genuine. You'd be joining a team of qualified, supportive professionals who work collaboratively, backing one another up rather than simply sharing a building. It's a great place to learn and hone your profession, whether you're just starting out or well established.
We also handle the practical side of the job. Online booking, reception, and laundry and room cleaning are all taken care of, so your time goes toward the work you're trained to do.
Who we're looking for
Right now, we're focused on two roles, but we're always glad to hear from other health professionals who think they'd be a good fit at Aston Wellness, naturopaths included. Here's what we're currently looking for:
Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
This role suits a recent graduate as much as an experienced osteopath. Mentoring is something founder Candice Aston takes seriously and genuinely enjoys. With more than 20 years of professional experience, she's mentored new graduates into confident, capable practitioners, and she's looking forward to doing it again. New graduates get that hands-on guidance and a fast track to a full caseload, while experienced osteopaths join a busy, established clinic with steady demand for their skills.
Registered Massage Therapist
This role suits an RMT who is passionate about helping people feel their best, whether newly registered or well into their career. It's a full-time opportunity to join our team and take on a full complement of patients as part of our practice, not a side arrangement alongside an outside practice.
Both roles call for strong communicators who are committed to patient care and want to grow with a team, along with current registration in good standing.
On the practical side, we offer a flexible schedule and an attractive compensation package. How quickly you build a full patient roster, and what that means for your income, depends on your experience and the demand for your services. Thanks to our growing, dedicated clientele, most practitioners reach a full caseload quickly.
Why Timmins
A big part of our success is a reflection of our community. We're hardworking professionals who love being outside, and that's part of what makes this a good place to build a career.
In Timmins, you're minutes away from the outdoors, whether that's a hiking trail, a quiet lake, or year-round off-road and snowmobile trails, depending on the season. Cost of living, including housing, goes further here than in Southern Ontario's bigger centres, and a shorter commute means more time for the things you actually enjoy. For a lot of practitioners, that adds up to a healthier work-life balance than a big-city clinic can offer.
