Meet Lady!

Lady joined the Aston Wellness team in June 2024, bringing a unique blend of skills that bridges the gap between rehabilitation and fitness. She currently works as a Physiotherapy Assistant in Ontarioand is actively working toward obtaining her physiotherapy licence. Her background in both physiotherapy education and fitness instruction allows her to support clients through recovery while also helping them build long-term strength and healthy movement habits.

Lady is passionate about helping people move better, recover from injuries, and improve their quality of life through a combination of guided therapeutic techniques and personalized exercise programs. She works under the direction and supervision of licensed physiotherapists to ensure safe and effective care.

Whether you are recovering from surgery, managing a chronic condition such as arthritis, or looking to improve your overall fitness, Lady focuses on practical, individualized programs that fit into everyday life.

Education & Background

Lady has a strong educational foundation that supports her role at Aston Wellness. She earned a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from Dr. MGR Medical University overseas, where she developed a solid understanding of human anatomy, movement, and rehabilitation principles.

After moving to Canada, she completed a Fitness and Health Promotion diploma at Northern College. This Canadian training strengthened her skills in exercise prescription, strength conditioning, and designing fitness programs for people of all ages and abilities — from new mothers and seniors to athletes and individuals managing chronic health conditions.

Areas of Focus

Lady supports a wide range of clients and conditions under the supervision of the clinic’s licensed physiotherapists. Her areas of focus include:

  • Prenatal and postpartum fitness

  • Pelvic floor support exercises

  • Geriatric fitness and mobility programs

  • Sport-related injury recovery support

  • Mobility, posture, and functional movement training

Techniques & Support Methods

During sessions, Lady assists with treatment plans developed by the supervising physiotherapist and may incorporate:

  • Manual assistance techniques

  • Myofascial release (gentle soft-tissue techniques)

  • Assisted stretching

  • Therapeutic taping for support and movement guidance

  • Ultrasound therapy, Shockwave therapy (as directed)

  • TENS & EMS modalities for pain relief and muscle activation

Lady works closely with the Aston Wellness clinical team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care. This collaborative approach helps clients progress safely toward their recovery and wellness goals.
